Hornworms grow into large, soft bodied caterpilllars, similar to silkworms, but they are bright green and grow even bigger and faster (up to 4 inches!). Their green color makes them great for stimulating feeding response in fussy eaters and reptiles on hunger strike.  Hornworms are a fantastic feeder source, are a great way to hydrate and give your exotics the nutrition and variety they need, and are relished by a wide variety of insectivores, including chameleons, bearded dragons, all kinds of lizards, frogs, birds, even sugar gliders and hedgehogs! 

Mulberry farms offers two different sizes (16 oz. & 24 oz.) of hornworm cup for all your hornworm needs. 

OUR "BABY" (16 oz) HORNWORM CUP (perfect for hatchlngs, juveniles, smaller species) includes 30-40 "baby" (hatchling to 3/4") hornworms and enough food to grow them to approx. 1+ inch. 

OUR "STANDARD" (24 oz) HORNWORM CUP (great for juveniles, adults, larger species) now include 15 to 20+ TWENTY-TO TWENTY-FIVE+ hornworms (small size) and enough food to grow them to medium/large/jumbo size (depending on how fast your animals gobble them up!).  *[Note: as the worms grow a lower worm count may be required to fit worms in the cup.]

IF YOU HAVE A SIZE PREFERENCE FOR YOUR WORMS (we can ship hornworms up to 2" in length, larger if shipped overnight -- these worms will grow quite a bit during several days in transit, especially in warm weather), please remember to place size requests (be as specific as possible!) in the "special instructions" section (during "checkout") when ordering  ... we will do our BEST to accommodate your size request as closely as possible. 

[YOU CAN SLOW DOWN THE GROWTH OF YOUR HORNWORMS BY KEEPING THEM COOL -- AROUND 50-55 DEGREES.  (Do Not Refrigerate!)  If you don't have a cool place or wine cooler where you can store your hornworms, you can put your hornworm cup(s) on one side of an ice chest/cooler and place resuable ice packs on the other side of the ice chest/cooler (be sure the ice pack doesn't touch the hornworm cup!), replacing the ice pack as needed to keep temperature cool - this will make your hornworms grow slowly and last even longer!]
