MULBERRY FARMS' POLICIES
(FOR ORDERS INSIDE THE U.S.).
IN VERY COLD OR HOT WEATHER WE MAY REQUIRE THAT YOUR PACKAGE BE HELD AT CLOSEST FED-EX LOCATION/POST OFFICE TO ENSURE LIVE DELIVERY -- PLEASE BE SURE AND LET US KNOW IF IT IS BELOW 40 DEGREES OR ABOVE 90 DEGREES WHERE YOUR PACKAGE IS BEING DELIVERED! THANK YOU.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
All prices on website are with advance payment only. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discovercard, and American Express; payment may also be made by money order/cashiers check.
We ship only after we receive payment. PLEASE NOTE that there will be no cash refunds or charge backs for credit card payments; all product losses will be satisfied with replacement product only.
LIVE GUARANTEE/SUMMER & WINTER SHIPPING POLICIES
"LIVE DELIVERY GUARANTEE" is valid ONLY IF someone is at the delivery location AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY (unless delivered to a P.O. Box.
YOU MUST ADVISE US if temperature in your area is above 90 or below 40 degrees; otherwise we DO NOT GUARANTEE LIVE DELIVERY!
HOLD & CALL service may be required in temperatures over 90 and below 40 degrees. We may have your package held at the Fed Ex/UPS/Post Office nearest you (up to 10 miles) using the SHIP TO phone number you provide in your order. PLEASE BE SURE TO PROVIDE A VALID "SHIP TO" PHONE NUMBER WHERE YOU CAN BE REACHED DURING THE DAY OR YOUR PACKAGE MAY BE DELAYED.
ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES: UP TO $6.50 "MAY" BE CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD for additional shipping charges in connection with your package due to FedEx dimensional weight charges and/or fuel surcharges applied by FedEx for delivery to certain areas.
REPLACEMENTS: WE MUST BE NOTIFIED WITHIN ONE HOUR AFTER DELIVERY of your package of any dead arrivals or delivery problems in order to receive a replacement. In the event of a loss, Mulberry Farms will reship your order free of product charge (but may require customer to pay some of the reshipping cost). Or, if customer prefers, Mulberry Farms will include the replacement product (plus extra) with your next order - if you mention it in the COMMENTS section during ordering. Note: At Mulberry Farms' discretion, a photograph of the dead or damaged product may be required in order to obtain a replacement. (PLEASE NOTE: If there is a problem with your that occurs beyond the ONE HOUR live guarantee period, please do let us know, and we will see what we can do to accommodate you - we stand behind our products and do our best to please every customer!
NO CHARGE BACKS/NO CASH REFUNDS: No charge backs and no cash refunds are available, replacement product only for unsatisfactory orders in accordance with our shipping policies.
No live insects will be shipped to Hawaii without a permit.
NOTE: YOU MUST PROVIDE A VALID "SHIP TO" PHONE NUMBER WHERE YOU CAN BE REACHED DURING THE DAY ... IF THERE IS ANY QUESTION ABOUT YOUR ORDER AND WE ARE NOT ABLE TO REACH YOU BY PHONE YOUR ORDER WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL WE HEAR FROM YOU.
SHIPPING SCHEDULE
Orders are shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, however,
we can ship OVERNIGHT DELIVERY ORDERS via UPS Ground to Southern California (see UPS Map to see if overnight UPS Ground delivery is available to your address) OR via FEDEX Overnight on Thursdays IF THE CUSTOMER PUTS A NOTE IN THE COMMENTS SECTION OF THE ORDER FORM INDICATING THEY WANT THE ORDER SHIPPED ON THURSDAY.
We may also ship some orders NOT containing LIVE INSECTS on Thursdays.
*Orders placed Wednesday after 11 AM CA time, thru Sunday (up to 12:00 midnight, CA time)... will
be shipped on Monday.
Occasionally we are so inundated with orders to be shipped on Monday (or on a Tuesday following a Monday postal holiday) that we are unable to get some orders out, in which case they will be shipped first thing the following morning. (Applies to USPS Priority Mail orders.)
*Orders placed anytime Monday (up to 12:00 midnight, CA time)... will
be shipped Tuesday.
*Orders placed anytime on Tuesday (or on Wednesday by 11 AM
CA time),
will be shipped Wednesday. Orders containing live
insects placed Wednesday after 11 AM CA time will be shipped the following Monday.
Currently we are offering UPS Ground Delivery for LIVE orders to California only. See UPS Ground Map
for LIVE insect delivery times. STATE OF CA RESIDENTS: Please Note that we may at our discretion change the shipping method of an order from USPS Priority Mail or FEDEX Next Day or 2nd Day Air to UPS Ground - within the State of CA only - IF we feel the package will either arrive in a more timely manner or in better condition (in the case of USPS Priority Mail, slightly higher shipping charges may be applied) or arrive in a more cost-effective manner but still within the desired delivery time (in the case of FEDEX Next Day or 2nd Day packages - at Mulberry Farms' discretion, FEDEX Next Day and 2nd Day Air packages changed to UPS Ground service will either be credited OR given extra product to make up the difference in shipping costs.) If you do NOT want us to change your shipping method if we feel your package can be delivered in a more timely or cost-effective manner, please note this in the COMMENTS section of your order form. Thank you.
PLEASE NOTE: UPS AND FEDEX do not deliver to P.O. Boxes and they do not deliver on
weekends or on some holidays and they do not count as delivery days.
US Postal Service (Priority Mail) does deliver on Saturdays. Also NOTE THAT USPS (Priority Mail) delivery time is an ESTIMATE ONLY given by the Post Office -- there is NO date or time of delivery guarantee with USPS Priority Mail.
You will receive a UPS OR FEDEX tracking number or USPS Priority Delivery Confirmation notice (whichever is applicable) by e-mail (in most cases)
the day your order is shipped. Please be sure to include a valid e-mail address with your order and make certain any e-mail spam filter is set to allow e-mail from mulberryfarms@sbcglobal.net to ensure that you can receive your shipment notification and any tracking information.

YES, WE SHIP WORLDWIDE! Mulberry Farms is
now offering silkworm chow & eggs (only) for worldwide delivery! There is a minimum product order of $100 (plus shipping) and some website sale pricing may not apply.
